I was born in Weggis, which is a lakeside village in Canton Luzern, Central Switzerland. Most of my childhood was spent here, apart from some years when I was in boarding school. Having qualified as a Nursing Assistant, I spent my early life working in various Swiss hospitals and old peoples’ homes.

I like walking, but my biggest passion is cooking and baking, hence this website. I have lived in Merseyside with my husband, Jack, since 1983 and we have three grown up children.

I hope that you enjoy looking at the photos and videos of my home and perhaps you might like to try out some of the recipes here.
